Here is a little bit about Ali’s nonprofit consulting experience:
Ali has a 13 year career in nonprofit fundraising and strategy. As a co-owner of a 20 person consulting firm, she personally worked with over 150 nonprofits, mostly located in the Puget Sound region, and some around Washington state and the rest of the country.
Her initial expertise was built in grant strategy, where she developed effective tools and techniques to rocket boost grantwriting for nonprofits of all shapes and sizes. In addition to coaching and training nonprofit leaders and fundraisers all over the state, she also built and trained one of the largest and most successful grantseeking consulting teams in the region.
Ali translated this experience into organizational development, requiring both big picture visioning as well as detailed task management in order to implement change. In her leadership roles, she has deep experience focused on strategic planning, development planning, organizational assessment and operations across a wide range of nonprofit sectors and sizes.
Ali has contributed to lots of area nonprofits through board service and volunteer time, and from a 20+ year career as a musician, is deeply familiar with the innerworkings of community organizations in the arts and creative spaces.
Her favorite type of work in nonprofit consulting is making sense out of the chaos, and then acting as teacher and guide, providing tools and resources as needed, as you create a path forward.
